Hello All!
It's been busy here these past week! Our "Red" Issue is due to come out in a couple of days, so needless to say with the product shoots and writing the accompanying article has had me working away, and I've haven't been able to update my blog :(
In any case, I'm back and here to give a review about a skincare set I received a week or so ago. The Grapeseed company (www.thegrapeseedcompany.com) sent some choice items from their line over, and I have to say that I am duly impressed.
The Green Tea and Grapes Cleanser ($18.00) is a deliciously scented and silky smooth creme cleanser that dissolves dirt and makeup like a dream. It felt so good on my face, that I just kept rubbing it in! Definitely some great stuff.
The Rose and Grape Serum ($30.00) is probably my favorite product out of the trio. It feels like a super moisturizing essential oil, but definitely not as greasy. I took about 8 drops and worked it into my face and neck and chest. Wow! I was definitely glowing, and I swear after about a week, the little fine lines around my mouth and eyes are less noticeable.
The Chamomile and Grapefruit Moisturizer ($20.00) is the finishing touch in your routine. While some may not find it necessary to top the serum off with moisturizer, those with dryer or more mature skin will find it is the perfect viscosity as it is not at all thick and not too thin and runny either.
The model for the shoot (will be in the "Aqua" issue) loved it too and said it smelled like "wine country". No wonder! It's manufactured in Santa Barbara's wine country.
I will hopefully be bringing you the PDF of the Red Issue within the next couple of days!
